CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

A few pictures of the decorations we have
up that now have to come down!

Something for me to do during a cold January.
I did manage to decorate 9 trees this year.
Add a few with just lights and the numbers were quite a bit higher

My tree grouping in the living room.
I have another 2 trees in the opposite corner but
no nice pictures of them.
My bird tree!
Our fireplace is closed off. Has not seen much use in the past few months
because of smoke allergies in the family.
Will have to seriously consider converting it to gas!!

Ron added some of his cars to the effort.
The lamp on the left is one my mom and dad used in their first home.
I also have 2 books that they used for their devotions.
That would be June, 1947.

The clear lamp is one we found in the trash when we were volunteering
in New Orleans after Katrina in 2007.
I cleared all my books out of the library shelving and
replaced them with some of my milk glass, transfer ware and other
glassware collection.
I plan to leave much of it, taking away the nativity sets
and the Christmas greens.

My kitchen cabinets make room for a few of my nativity sets.
I will need to do an inventory count when I pack them away.
I did not manage to set them all out.

I converted my living room wall unit into a Christmas setting
as well. The white houses are dollar store purchases
spray painted white and glittered. They were quite an improvement.
I will do a snow scene for January to keep a
few decorations around!
